Saskatchewan Issues 576 Invitations to Apply for Provincial Nomination
On 27th February 2020, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) invited 576 candidates under the International Skilled Worker System to apply for provincial nomination. 301 invitations were extended to candidates under the Express Entry System category, and 275 invitations were issued to candidates under the Occupations in-Demand category. Only those who scored 69 or more points under both categories received invitations.
Under the SINP International Skilled Worker System, foreign nationals who wish to permanently live and work in Saskatchewan are required to submit an online Expression of Interest, for the category that they are eligible for. Candidates receive point scores, and are ranked, based on the information recorded in the EOI. On a regular basis, highest-ranking candidates are invited to submit an application to the SINP. A complete application must be submitted within 60 days of receiving the invitation. If nominated, the candidate can apply for permanent residence to the federal government.
