On 28th November 2019, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) invited 460 eligible registrants under two distinct categories to apply for nomination to the province. The government authorities of Canada’s provinces and territories nominate foreign nationals, who can contribute to the local economy, to apply for permanent residence to the federal authority — Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Foreign skilled workers aspiring to live and work in Saskatchewan are required to submit an online Expression of Interest. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) evaluates eligibility by allocating points based on several selection factors. Through regular ‘draws’, highest-ranking candidates who can fulfil the minimum point requirement — which varies with each draw — are invited to apply for nomination.

In the latest draw, candidates under the Express Entry and Occupations in-Demand categories — who scored 69 or more points — were invited. Within 60 days of receiving the invitation, a completed online application and supporting documents must be submitted to the SINP.
